About Nagin
The first season aired from 1 November 2015 to 5 June 2016.[2] It starred Mouni Roy, Arjun Bijlani and Adaa Khan as Shivanya, Ritik and Shesha.[3][4] It became one of the highest-rated shows on Indian television.[5]

The second season aired from 8 October 2016 to 25 June 2017.[6][7][8] It starred Mouni Roy, Karanvir Bohra and Adaa Khan as Shivangi, Rocky and Shesha.[9][10]

The third season aired from 2 June 2018 to 26 May 2019.[11] It starred Surbhi Jyoti, Pearl V Puri and Anita Hassanandani as Bela, Mahir and Vish respectively.[12][13][14] Like Previous Seasons, It also became one of the highest-rated shows on Indian television.

The fourth season was introduced with a new title Naagin: Bhagya Ka Zehreela Khel. It aired from 14 December 2019 to 8 August 2020.[15] It starred Nia Sharma, Vijayendra Kumeria, Jasmin Bhasin and Rashami Desai as Brinda, Dev, Nayantara and Shalakha.[16][17][18][19]

The fifth season premiered on 9 August 2020.[20] It stars Surbhi Chandna, Sharad Malhotra and Mohit Sehgal as Bani, Veer and Jay.[21]

A spin-off titled Kuch Toh Hai: Naagin Ek Naye Rang Mein is introduced to be launched on 7 February replacing Naagin 5.
Season 1
Shivanya and Shesha are naagins who decide to avenge the death of Shivanya's parents for by the Raheja family. Shivanya marries Ritik and starts killing the murderers one by one. Shesha falls for Ritik and joins hands with Yamini. They frame Shivanya for murder to provoke Ritik against her. Shivanya and Ritik confess their love and consummate which makes Shivanya lose her powers. Sangram kills himself to give Shivanya her powers back. Shivanya kills Yamini, defeats Shesha and protects the naagmani.

Season 2
Three months later
Shivanya delivers her daughter, Shivangi in the third month of her pregnancy which shocks the doctors. Yamini is resurrected.

24 years later
Shivangi grows up with Shivanya and falls in love with Rocky, Yamini's foster son. Yamini murders Shivanya which provokes Shivangi and she decides to avenge her mother. Rocky joins Shivangi to kill Shesha and Yamini, but ultimately kills Shivangi under orders from Ritik. Shivangi feels betrayed and takes an oath to find out the truth about her death.

Season 3
Naagrani Ruhi unites with her lover Vikrant after 100 years and they are set to marry each other. However, Yuvraj and his friends molest Ruhi and attack Vikrant leading to his death. Ruhi is distraught but she vows to return for revenge.

Six months later
Vishakha Khanna, a rich investor arrives and kills Yuvraj, but he manages to survive. Mahir is compelled to marry Bela who is revealed to be Ruhi. She falls in love with Mahir. On finding out the truth about Bela's identity, Mahir is shattered. He loses his memory and forgets Bela after Sumitra bites him.

Six months later
Bela uses Naagmani to bring back Mahir's memories and they consummate their relationship. Sumitra seeks help from Hukkum who tries to impregnate Bela to give birth to a demon child. Vishakha takes Bela's place and gives birth to Taamsi, who grows up in a matter a seconds and kills Hukkum. Bela and Mahir obtain Naagmani but it is cursed by Shivangi. They can only obtain it after their reincarnation. Bela and Mahir die.

25 years later
Bela reincarnates into Shravani and Mahir reincarnates into Mihir. They unite with each other. Vikrant is killed by Taamsi and Sumitra. Learning Shivangi's story, Shravani tricks Ritik and Rocky to bring Shivanya to the temple and Shivangi returns to help Shravani. Yamini is killed by Shivangi. It is revealed how it was Shesha who killed Shivangi in the form of Rocky. Free from their guilt, Ritik dies and unites with Shivanya, while Rocky and Shivangi start a life together. Shravani kills Sumitra, Taamsi and Shesha and marries Mihir.

Season 4
Naagin princess Manyata marries Keshav a human, thus losing her power and gives birth to Nayantara. Keshav is killed by the Parekh family. Manyata escapes and waits for her daughter's 25th birthday to avenge her husband's murder. As due to Manyata's parent's curse she and her daughter must wait for 25 years to regain their powers.

25 years later
Nayantara waits to get her naagin powers, however, the powers go to Brinda instead, who is later revealed to have been switched at birth with Nayantara. Meanwhile, Dev who is son of Keshav's murderer, falls in love with Brinda. Nayantara discovers that Brinda is a Nagin and also Manyata's original daughter and all the Nagin powers are with her but not for Nayantara. Nayantara gets jealous and tries to kill Brinda but fails. Meanwhile Parekh family comes to know that Nayantara is Manyata's daughter and they think Nayantara is the nagin but they don't stop her because they are aware of the fact that if a nagin marries a human her powers would decrease unaware of the fact that it will only happen due to a curse. Vyshali and crew sends their sons to kill Nayantara in the mean time they try to kill Manyata with the help of Brinda's father who is a priest. But Manyata gets her powers back and tries to kill the Parekh family but Brinda comes in there and Parekh family escapes. Nayantara was successfully killed by Parekh family's sons. Manyata and Brinda are reunited and at first Brinda doesn't believe Manyata but witnesses Nayantara's death and vows that she will avenge her father's, father's family's and her sister's death and Brinda marries Dev to avenge her family's death.

Vishakha returns with the motive of getting Naagmani. And saves Nayantara in order to capture the naagmani. Because the people who were born on Ashlesha star only can touch naagmani. But eventually fails and Dev is also born on that star so he accidentally touches the naagmani and it goes into him. Enraged Vishaka sends Nayantara into a pillar. Vishaka creates misunderstandings between Brinda and Dev and also takes Dev's form and kills Manyata in front of Brinda making Brinda think it was Dev who killed her mother. Brinda vows avenge her parents by killing Dev and his family.

1 year later
Vish takes Mundika's identity and gives Nayantara a new face and identity, Shalakha. Dev and Shalaka get married. Brinda realizes that Dev did not kill Manyata. Shalakha finds out that Mundika is Vishakha's new identity. Shalakha manages to frame Vishakha as the murderer and she is put behind bars.

Brinda and Dev confess their love. Dev asks Shalakha for divorce as he loves Brinda. Shalakha hypnotizes Dev to detach him from Brinda. Brinda's identity is revealed to Dev. Vishakha enters the Parikh house and murders the entire family under Brinda's disguise and spares Dev to obtain the Naagmani.

Brinda finds out that Shalakha is Nayantara under a new identity. Shesha and Naagrani Shravani enters to assist Brinda. Vishakha is killed by Naagrani Shravani while Shalakha is killed by Shesha. Dev dies leaving Brinda devastated. Naagrani Shravani summons Sarvashreshtha Aadi Naagin Naageswari. The four perform a tandav to impress Lord Shiva to obtain Naagmani from Dev. Naageswari narrates her story which happened thousands of years ago to Brinda in order to save Dev.

Season 5
The story starts ten thousand years ago when eagles had the power to shape shift. When the eagles attacked the snakes to obtain Naagmani, Lord Shiva blessed the shapeshifting ability to snakes and named the first naagin to get this power, Naageshwari. She was in love with a naag Hriday while the prince of eagles, Aakesh falls in love with her despite the enmity between the clans. Aakesh killed Hriday with his army and a devastated Naageshwari stabbed herself to death. On completing the story, Dev is brought back to life and he reunites with Brinda. According to the condition of lord Shiva, Naageshwari has to take rebirth to complete her lovestory but the history was set to change this time.

25 years Later
Naageshwari gets reincarnated as Bani. On the wedding of her best friend Noor, she meets Jai Mathur and feels an instant link with him and he too feels the same. The wedding gets cancelled due to chaos caused by the quintessential and handsome Veeranshu “veer” Singhania (an eagle) who gets mesmerised seeing Bani and falls in love with her at the very first sight. Bani feels even a stronger connection with veer but of hatred. Even though she starts falling in love with Jai, it is Veer about whom she constantly thinks of though out of hatred.

Veer plans to win Bani’s love and get married to her so he instead sends a marriage alliance for her sister Meera, knowing Bani would never let him marry her sister. Jai and Bani reach the Shiv temple and remember the previous births where Jai is revealed to be her lover Hriday’s reincarnation and they both realise Veer is infact Aakesh’s rebirth. So, Bani plans to marry Jai the same day as Veer and Meera. Out of jealousy Veer asks his brothers to kill Jai and they kidnap him and throw him down the cliff. To seek revenge Bani kills Veer’s twin brother thinking him to be Veer. When he comes to know of his brother’s death he forcefully marries Bani and promises to Torture her. Jai is revealed to be alive and he was all the while faking his love for Bani to receive her powers. Jai poses many problems for Bani with his allies with Veer saving and helping her each time. Bani begins to like being with Veer and with due course of time falls helplessly in love with him and reciprocates his feelings and they consummate their marriage. But the very next morning upon waking up, Veer claims he used Bani to take revenge and ruin her under a hypnotic spell. Bani finds out the truth and brings him back to normal.

Since Bani had changed the history and challenged the nature’s law by falling in love with an eagle whom she was supposed to kill and avenge her previous life, a Farishta curses her that Veer shall forget her and despise her and so happens. Veer forgets and starts hating Bani and cannot tolerate her presence around him. But even then gets attracted to her continuously. Bani decides to win Veer’s love all over again. Amidst this she realises she is pregnant with Veer’s child and beams with joy.
